Martin Schneider’s 25 years of experience in corporate bank payments is recognized at international transaction banks (Deutsche Bank, Unicredit, UBS)

2008

Tecan evaluated SAP and Swift for Corporate as best solution. It is the first Swiss company ever to connect their entire account payables and receivables to Swift!

2007

An UBS subsidiary decided to revoke its bank licence. Tomato supported their IT in establishing a payment gateway disconnecting it from the Swift network

2005

Klaus Groner and Martin Schneider earn a post as guest lecturers at Zurich University and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences

2004

Martin Schneider takes part in the Swiss LSV+ Committee and represents the Swiss Telecom Industry

2002

e-Procurement: Tomato and Sunrise successfully launch the first e-procurement platform for the supply chain in the telecom industry. Together with mammut development of mammut web as beta version at Sunrise.

1999

Tomato guides Sunrise in its launch of several solutions in internet and call center-based credit card payments

Tomato participates in bank data migrations in telecoms: Swisscom to Billag; Diax into Sunrise; Swissonline into Cablecom

1998

The Swiss Federal Bureau of Foreign Affairs, Bern, commissioned Klaus Groner and Martin Schneider to train personnel in Ukrainian banks in Kiev in our area of expertise for a period of three years

1997

Franco Marinotti and Martin Schneider founded Tomatwoo, Milan, offering the treasury software Riskart for the Italian corporate and banking market. See www.riskart.com

1996

Tomato starts projects on the optimization of recurring mass payments for the deregulated telecom market. These projects lasted 8 years and involved Swisscom, Sunrise, Orange and Cablecom. Most used instruments: Direct debits and credit cards

1995

Martin Schneider and Franco Marinotti founded Tomato Lugano

1994

Martin Schneider was awarded contract for the reorganization of cash management at the World Bank in Washington D.C.

1992

Martin Schneider founded Tomato AG! First corporate contract in Vienna and first Swift bank contract in Switzerland
